Description
Admirals Quarter is the first develop of its size that I have been asked to Landscape. Fourteen of the houses have private gardens and these were the focus of my efforts. Due to the gradients the gardens had to be terraced. Areas of decking and paving were used in contrast to shingle areas for drainage and low maintenance planting. Raised beds and containers added greenery to hard surfaces. Planting is minimal and sculptural and all the gardens to stand out against beach style mixtures of shingle, pebble and feature stones. The communal planting areas have a larger variety of seaside plants mulched with bark.
